My wife and  I took an 50 year old print that had been framed improperly with was glued in the corners.   Peggy took the framing apart and reframed it.  We are very happy with how it looks now and enjoy it every day.  Thanks Peggy.

I Love the Frame Corner! Having only lived in Austin for four years, and since i’m new to town, It’s been interesting to see the places that have been freindly, and not so freindly!  I am an artist, and I needed some honest, and real advice on framing my work.  Peggy made me feel so welcome, and showed a desire to get to know me,and my work!  I will never forget the fact that she was the first person in Austin to take the time to really make me feel like my art work was worth looking at!  Peggy is the type of person who cares enough to value you as a potenitial customer, and a freind, because she is so real and cares about people!

I absolutely trust that when I take a piece to Peggy for framing that it will turn out beautifully. Even when I have a sense of what I want, I know that she will bring her artistic sense to bear and let me know if there is a better color or frame that would help my piece “shine”.

Yes, framing can be pricey, but at Peggy’s shop you will always get a work of art to take home that you will love to look at for years to come.

I had several posters that I needed framed, and had no idea how intense the process of framing really was. Peggy gave me a full explanation of this process and made me feel comfortable knowing my posters were in good hands. I highly recommend The Frame Corner to anyone who is getting something framed for the first time.

I entered the Frame Corner with small postcard sized prints of artwork.  I wasn’t sure what I wanted.  Although I would love to claim a fine artistic eye, I don’t have one.  Peggy helped me select the strongest prints and then made suggestions for the arrangement, mat, and frame.  When I picked up the framed work this week, it was more lovely than I thought it could be.  Although I framed it for a Christmas gift, when my husband saw it, he put it up in a prominent niche in our house.  Thanks to Peggy for her fine eye that makes me look like I have that artistic sense.  If you are willing to listen to true expertise, I could not recommend Peggy more heartily.

The Frame Corner makes your framing work as easy as it gets.  I am a designer and have used The Frame Corner several times over the past few years for custom framing on artwork from original oil paintings to a family’s kid’s artwork – that look like a million bucks!  The quality of the work is great; they were able to work within my time constraints; and Peggy really cares about the work she does and gives excellent direction in the way to best showcase your art.  The selection of frames is great and they carry a wide variety from Contemporary to Traditional.  The best thing is that Peggy is the owner and has her sons working with her in the shop – so you get the personal attention everyone wants… and – it’s an Austin – Family owned craftsman business!

I took an oil painting with a frame damaged in my move to The Frame Corner for repair.  Peggy told me the options for repairing it and I agreed to have it repaired rather than replace the frame ($800+).  It was ready within a week and she did a great job!  She replaced the missing beading and tinted it gold to match the rest of the frame.  It’s almost as good as new, without the cost of a replacement frame.  Thanks, Peggy!

The Frame Corner and owner Peggy Linehan are absolutely tops!  This company has given me great framing for over 25 years, but this last visit was so remarkable, it deserves more than 5 stars.  I was trying to frame 2 children’s drawings to give as thank you gifts for people who are supporters of the Center for Child Protection.

Because we operate on a very lean budget, I bought ready-made frames on sale and went to Peggy to get mats cut.  She not only did that and refused to accept any payment for her very skilled work, but she told me why I should exchange the frames for different ones that would look better and she suggested a perfect color for the matting.  AND she did the job in a day!

This is a exceptional business with a wonderful owner who has a big heart for children who are suffering.  We salute you!  Clare H

Great frame store!  I have lived in Austin a long time and used a number of frame stores–this place is a whole other level of service and professionalism at about the same price.  The owner helps you and works closely with you to bring out the very best in whatever you’re framing.  As others have said, she has a great eye and makes terrific suggestions.  I had her frame six paintings and was so pleased I just dropped off four more today.  I can’t wait to see how they turn out.  Peggy makes the process fun and I will be happy for a very long time with how these paintings look.  I can’t imagine going anywhere else now that I’ve found Frame Corner.

Just had two things framed with Peggy’s help and couldn’t be happier. One was a prayer my mother, now deceased, had scribbled on a piece of paper. Peggy understood why this was particularly precious to me and suggested the perfect way to frame it. The second item was a poster of a beautiful photograph, and Peggy suggested the perfect frame that enhanced its beauty. You’re in good hands when you walk in that door.

I took a very unique silk screen to Peggy and I am very pleased that she found a very complementary and truly arresting combination of frame and mat for my wife’s b-day present. The work is excellent. Very professional and informed.

We brought 6 limited edition art prints in to Peggy at The Frame Corner.  She was great fun to work with and has a sharp eye for the artistry of putting the right frame with the right piece.  We walked out thrilled that she was doing the work.

A week later, right on cue, she called and said the prints were ready.  Perfect.  The frames look amazing and the prints are now on the wall.  Our house never looked better.

If you’re searching around for a good frame shop, quit searching.  This is the one you want.

You’re not just going to tack those posters on your wall, are you?

Whenever I add to my film or music poster collection, I visit Peggy at The Frame Corner. Peggy is very outspoken and will make great suggestions for frame and matting combinations. The quality of the work is always great too. Now I just need more walls.
